About Us

Ailigéadar Irish Dance is made up of undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Florida. We are a diverse group of students, who study everything from music to sustainability to medicine. Some members have been competitive Irish dancers for many years, while a good number have little to no Irish dance experience at all. We perform on the University of Florida campus, as well as around the greater Gainesville area. We have also traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida, for a show and to Dayton, Ohio for an intercollegiate Irish dance competition.
